ETAPE 2 \/ L’ALPE D’HUEZ – GARGAS<\/span><\/h1>\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n
<\/div>\r\nThis second stage was the great novelty of this anniversary route of the Meg\u00e8ve-Saint-Tropez Rally. From Alpe d’Huez we descended the famous 21 bends dear to cyclists of the large loop to head towards the foothills of the Vercors Massif then into the Baronnies. \r\n
<\/div>\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n
<\/div>\r\nThis was the opportunity to climb a few other passes, certainly less popular, but just as legendary, for Monte-Carlo Rally fans.\r\n
<\/div>\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n
<\/div>\r\nWe therefore climbed the Col de Men\u00e9e, then covered roads from the special stages usually contested in the world championship, around Rosans.\r\n
<\/div>\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n
<\/div>\r\nIt is in these Hautes-Alpes that the Pic-Nic was organized in another important place of Monte-Carl’, the village of Laborel, known as an obligatory crossing point before the ascent of the Col de Perty!\r\n\r\n
<\/div>\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n\r\n
<\/div>\r\nWe were then in the heart of the Baronnies and passed not far from Ventoux for a never-before-seen route along the magnificent Gorges de la Nesque before arriving at Gargas in the Lub\u00e9ron, where the H\u00f4tel La Coquillade welcomes us this evening!\r\n
