June, 9th 2021 : 7th Rally Megeve-Saint-Tropez: 2ND Stage Annecy – Serre Chevalier<\/h1>\r\n\r\n\"\"<\/a>Starting from Lake Annecy, this second stage quickly reached the foothills of the Aravis massif to continue our route on the Route des Grandes Alpes.\r\n

\r\nAll day long, the route crossed the most legendary alpine passes with the Forclaz then the Cormet de Roselend and its panoramic view offered by the lake and its small church overlooking it. A CP was placed at the top before the narrower descent to Bourg Saint-Maurice then Val d’Is\u00e8re, which welcomed us for the first time since the creation of the rally in 2015.\r\n

\r\nThe Col de l’Iseran, initially scheduled for this 2021 edition, but still covered with snow, required the competitors to descend the Tarentaise valley to reach the Col de la Madeleine and its passage at 2000m with an incredible view of the massifs of the Maurienne facing him, land of eternal snow, where a new playful event was taking place.\r\n

\r\nThen followed the Col du T\u00e9l\u00e9graphe and Col du Galibier for an incredible ascent to more than 2600m from the Ecrins National Park and its always snow-capped peaks starting the descent to Serre Chevalier to enjoy a well-deserved rest after having climbed nearly 10,000m of difference in height during the day!\r\n

\r\nThis stage sounds like a highlight of this 7th edition before starting the final straight towards Saint-Tropez and the triumphant arrival on the Place des Lices.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n
