Once the cars were adorned with the colors of the rally and its partners, we had to go to the Meg\u00e8ve altiport for a cocktail officially launching the assault on the 3 stages, 900km, and the fifteen passes to be crossed in this 2021 edition.\r\n

\r\n\"\"<\/a>Framed by a still heavy health context, the first stage and the itinerary concocted by Cyril Neveu Promotion had to undergo some last minute changes, but would keep the essentials, with as an appetizer, the Col des Aravis then the Colombi\u00e8re making it possible to reach the Col de Joux Plane where a country pic-nic was organized. A first playful event was established there, in a rather overcast and humid climate, before covering the rest of the course, taking the participants to the shores of Lake Annecy and its ever-stunning azure and turquoise colors.\r\n

\r\n\"\"<\/a>The second stage proposed the ascent of a few passes before attacking the famous Cormet de Roselend, under a bright sun, and thus reaching Val d’Is\u00e8re and a unique lunch in the resort. The Col de l’Iseran, initially programmed but still closed to traffic, also required a new modification of the route, for a passage, just as monumental, at the top of the Col de la Madeleine allowing to reach the valleys of the Tarentaise and La Maurienne and another classification test. Then followed the Col du T\u00e9l\u00e9graphe and the \u201cgiant\u201d Col du Galibier and its snowdrifts, to take us to Serre Chevalier, at the end of this grandiose day with a very steep drop.\r\n

\r\n\"\"<\/a>The final and traditional last stage to Saint-Tropez was shaping up to be decisive with the crossing of the Col d’Izoard then the ascent of the Col de Vars and the last opportunity to score in the general classification. We then had to enter the Mercantour National Park, which once again did us the honor of its welcome, with this passage always noticed at the top of the very steep Col de la Cayolle. The competitors then took advantage of a Pic-Nic before crossing the last passes of the Var hinterland, along the Verdon and Lac de Castillon, which marked our entry into the Massif des Maures under temperatures close to 30 degrees.\r\n

\r\n\"\"<\/a>As the Rally was about to finish, with the triumphant arrival at the Port of Saint-Tropez and then stopping at the no less famous Place des Lices, the hallmark of the Rallye Meg\u00e8ve-Saint-Tropez, all participants and the The CNP team could celebrate the winners having won this 7th edition, in a demonstration of flawless regularity and appreciated by all the crews claiming the final victory!\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n
