From Serre Chevalier, start of the final stage, under a bright sun and summer temperatures, we climbed the Col d’Izoard to reach Guillestre and begin the ascent of the Col de Vars which was the scene of the final rally passage control.

Barcelonnette also marked the entrance to the Mercantour National Park for a passage to the sublime and very steep Col de la Cayolle.

Once out of the Park, the competitors had the opportunity to enjoy a Picnic organized by the roadside and offering Petrossian products for tasting.

However, the day was not over with the Daluis gorges and its countless tunnels cut in the ocher rock before crossing the small passes of the Var hinterland leading to Castellane, along the Verdon, towards the Castillon lake and its blue amazing azure.

The competitors then traveled through the military camp of Canjuers before the traditional triumphant arrival at the Port of Saint-Tropez and the stop on the Place des Lices among the bowlers to celebrate the big winners of this 8th edition, before the award ceremony. price in Ramatuelle tonight!
