Monday, June 4, 2018 – Administrative Checks & Prologue
Today Monday, June 4th, the eve of the departure of the 4th edition of Megève – St Tropez – La!
Financiere de L’Echiquier, was the traditional day of scrutinerings on the Place de la Marie in Megève.
Once the cars were dressed in the colors of the rally, the competitors were able to compete against each other. A “gymkhana” event was the prologue of the event organized on the tarmac of the Megève altiport.
Climatic conditions were mixed during this prologue, with a departure under the sun for “classic” cars and the arrival of rain ripples for the Prestige cars category that have ensured the show in beautiful slips and lurches.
This exercise is perfectly suited to the THISE Leopold & THISE Marie crew aboard their SHELBY Cobra 289, which ranks at the top of the Classic class. In the Prestige category, MALLINJOUD Valérie & HONORÉ Ludovic put the PORSCHE 997 Turbo Cabriolet on the first step of this first podium.
After discovering the special and limited edition of the “Grands Fonds » watch ZRC, the official timekeeper of the Rally, participants were able to attend to the presentation of the Jetfly Pilatus PC12 aircraft and an evening cocktail which was going to take place at the Farms of Mary of Megève.
