Rally Megève – St-Tropez,
6th edition: 14-17 september 2020

2nd Stage / Alpe d’Huez – Serre Chevalier

From Alpe d’Huez, the sun was still shining at the start of the second stage of the rally, the competitors covered the famous hairpins downhill before reaching the Oisans valley with the Col de la Col de la Croix de Fer welcoming the coffee break planned at its summit.

We then returned to the Maurienne valley via the Col du Mollard to reach Modane and Fort Marie-Thérèse where lunch was held, in the heart of this medieval fortress, imprinted by the glorious past of the region.

We then had to climb a new pass, Mont-Cenis, before heading to Italy for a foray into the towns of Susa and Oulx. From this valley, we returned to France via Briançon and its famous citadel, before reaching Serre Chevalier, the end of this steep stage.
