Administrative checks – June 13, 2022
Today, Monday June 13, the day before the start of the 8th edition of Megève – St-Tropez, the traditional day of administrative checks took place at the Palais des Sports in Megève.
Once the cars were dressed in rally colors and after the organization’s general briefing, the competitors headed to the Megève Altiport in good weather, where we were organizing the great novelty of this new edition: a Concours d’Elegance.
Each crew then had to present itself to the jury made up of elected officials from the city of Megève and its automobile club. So 80 crews were going to parade in the company of their car and an accessory chosen by the organization: a hat. An exceptional moment sharing conviviality.
The crews are now ready to face the 3 stages, 900km, and the fifteen passes of this 2022 edition of the Megève – St-Tropez Rally, the start of which will be given tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m., in order to connect Megève to Alpe d’Huez. via the Col d’Iseran.
We then give you an appointment for the summary of the first stage where we will appreciate the forces present ready to fight to win the final trophy.
